          INTRODUCTION


          This competition started in 1995. It is held in Stara Lubovna every year in June. It is open for secondary school students from all over Slovakia. It is about completing tasks and obtaining clues and keys. The team with the most keys wins. It is simple, or is it? Just ask anyone who has competed and they will tell you that it is one hell of a battle but worth it as the whole experience is unforgettable, especially if you win.

          THE TASKS

          The tasks vary from year to year but remain more or less the same. Some have been there from the start like the Cobweb or the Living Carpet. Some are very new like the Afternoon Challenge. All up there are 14 keys on offer, one for each task if completed correctly and within the time limit.

          The Cobweb

          It is easy. All you need to do is to get all your team members from one side of a manmade cobweb to the other. You must go through the available spaces but without touching the cobweb, actually rope. One touch and you must go back. To be successful, you need to be strong, fast, quick-thinking and possess a stiff body as well as good flexibility.


          The Living Carpet

          This is simple as well as three team members must lie down on the grass in front of the fourth team member so that they can walk across their backs over about 50 meters without setting foot on the ground. If they slip and fall, bad luck and they need to start again.

          RESULTS

          Many students from GMA have competed in the competition over the years representing GMA or other institutions like VITALCENTRUM or the Capuchins.

          2003

          VITALCENTRUM, Filip Luknar from Septima A, Monika Martinicka from Septima A, Kristina Penthorova from Septima B and Ivan Bizik from 2A, was THIRD.

          2004

          VITALCENTRUM, Tomas Tominko Hrubizna from Septima, Jana  Jane Kochanova, Robert Robo Lukacovic from Sexta and Petra Ingrid Bakosova from Sexta, was FIRST.

          2005

          VITALCENTRUM, Robert Robo Lukacovic from Septima,  Petra Ingrid Bakosova from Septima, Michal Mikey Krcmery from Sexta and Jana Janica Valachova from 2A, was FIRST

          2006

          VITALCENTRUM, Michal Mikey Krcmery from Septima, Jana Janica Valachova from 3A, Michal Skinnyboy Meleg from Sexta and Denisa Palkova also from Sexta, was FIRST.
